Workshops and Expo
This community event is free for both the public and vendors and will showcase bike businesses, makers, outdoor gear, and food. It’s a great opportunity to connect with riders, outdoor enthusiasts, and fellow businesses in a lively downtown setting.
We are also hosting several workshops for cyclists and bikepackers of all experience levels. Following the expo, from 8-9pm there will be an informal social hour and meet & greets for each of the events the next day, the Community Overnighter and Fayetteville Ultra Circuit.
Workshop schedule & Descriptions:
5-5:45pm BarYak Bikepacking Carrying Systems presents Bikerafting 101
Curious about taking your bikepacking adventure to the next level? BarYak will have two packrafts for a hands-on workshop covering what is bikerafting, how to carry a packraft with your bikepacking gear, and different ways to secure your bike to your packraft. Adding a packraft can allow you to access areas with your bike you never thought possible!
6-6:45pm Bikefit with Highroller Cyclery
Jeremy Wofford will provide a demo breaking down the basics of bike fit, with a focus on long-distance riding and bikepacking.
7-8pm Bikepacking 101 Hosted by Bikes or Death & Bikepacking Roots
This interactive session will answer audience questions on all aspects of bikepacking, whether you are interested in casual touring or ultra-racing. Panelists will include Patrick Farnsworth of Bikes or Death, Noelle Battle of Bikepacking Roots, and Alex Kowalski - ultra-racer and creator of the Fayetteville Ultra Circuit. This workshop will be recorded for a future episode of the Bikes or Death Podcast!

Community Overnighter
This is a beginner friendly focused ride, but everyone is welcome to come ride with us at a chill pace. We will have ride leaders and sweepers, mechanics on the ride to help with any mechanicals, and a sag vehicle that can assist with carrying gear and/or you and your bike to camp if needed. We also have a Carry My Damn Gear option for riders who don’t want to be lugged down by the additional weight or don't have bikepacking bags yet. Moral of the story, if you wanna ride your damn bike, but you’re not sure if this route is obtainable for you, we invite you to push your limits with the assurance that we got your back. One way or another we’re gonna get you and your gear to camp!

Fayetteville Ultra Circuit
Welcome to the Fayetteville Ultra Circuit (FUC) - a gritty, soulful, and rugged bikepacking race weaving its way through the heart of Northwest Arkansas and the ancient ridgelines of the Arkansas Ozarks. Designed for the self-reliant, the curious, and the trail-hungry, this race is not just about speed - it's about connecting forgotten singletrack, pushing your limits, and discovering the deep roots of trail riding in the South.

AgriCrit
Nestled inside an eight-acre plot of land dedicated to agricultural research is a network of enclosed dirt and gravel roads, and on September 20, a portion of these roads will be transformed into a one-of-a-kind race course. The AgriCrit's 1.6-mile clockwise loop features a fast and flowing downhill on the first half of the course, a long uphill drag on the back half, and a flat and technical start/finish stretch. With 49 feet of elevation per lap, an open terrain exposed to the wind, and a few skill-testing turns, the course is anything but stale.
Located at the Upper Ramble!
The Upper Ramble is the newest addition to Fayetteville’s signature outdoor space known collectively as The Ramble, a revitalized 50-acre cultural arts corridor that links downtown attractions in a thoughtful, open-air design.
Located between Center Street and Dickson Street, the Upper Ramble replaces a former parking lot southwest of Dickson and West Avenue, transforming what was once vehicular space into a lush, vibrant public gathering spot.
A portion of proceeds from both the Community Overnighter and Fayetteville Ultra Circuit goes to Bikepacking Roots - a non-profit organization with a mission to support and advance bikepacking, the growth of a diverse bikepacking community, and access to and the conservation of the landscapes and public lands through which we ride.
