DOOM: The Documentary | Bikepack Racing in the Ozarks | Trailer

Doom 2025 was already going to be hard—just look at the name. But when storms swept through the Ozarks, flooding the region days before the start, it became something else entirely.

As riders arrived at the start point, organizer Andrew Onermaa rebuilt the entire 400+ mile route to avoid flooding as much as possible. In near-freezing, soaking wet conditions, Doom 2025 would demand uncommon grit.

Told through the eyes of six racers and Onermaa, DOOM: The Documentary paints a portrait of the heart of bikepacking. Weaving through the stunning landscape of the Ozarks, riders must make calculated decisions about water crossings, resupply, when or if to sleep, among other challenges. The race is entirely self-supported and participants must be ready for anything that can and does occur: a true test of the human spirit.
